This case study presents a fintech application designed to enable users to invest fiat currency, offering stable earnings through a fixed APY% compounded daily. The app simplifies the investment process, making it accessible to a broad audience, including tech-savvy young adults and older users seeking secure, regulated investment options. Originally created for a product designer test, I was so pleased with the outcome that I decided to showcase it here, with plans to expand and refine it further. I was provided with a few wireframes and a desktop version as a starting point to develop high fidelity prototypes. My own liking for the dark modes in most of the apps I use was a big influence to come up with both light and dark versions of the design. For this project, I selected Kanit as the primary typeface and Hind as the complementary typeface to create a modern and clean aesthetic. The color palette is anchored by two dominant colors: #132632, a deep, rich tone, and #D4FB55, a vibrant, contrasting hue. These colors were carefully chosen for their versatility, ensuring that the design looks equally striking and effective on both light and dark surfaces.   These are the wireframes I received to work from, and I had complete freedom to choose the colors and overall design. My approach to the project involved expanding the menu and adding essential buttons such as „Wallet,“ „Search,“ „Transfer,“ and „Markets.“ I positioned the profile button in the upper left corner, as this is where users instinctively look for it. This design choice enhances navigation, making it more intuitive for all users, especially those who may not be as tech-savvy. Check out the Dark version Check out the Light version   Part of the wireframe for the desctop version , you can see. It had to be responsive for mobile as well. By prioritizing a modern UI/UX and intuitive navigation, the app effectively addresses the needs of both tech-savvy young adults and older users seeking secure investment options. The choices in typography, color, and feature expansion contribute to a user-friendly experience that enhances accessibility and engagement. Ultimately, this project underscores the importance of thoughtful design in creating financial tools that empower individuals to manage their investments confidently.

Uchiteli.bg App

UCHITELI.BG Mobile App design of a platform for finding qualified tutors and teachers for hire in Bulgaria Website Redesign Responsibilities: ResearchUX UI DesignVisual DesignPrototyping Team: Me Time 1 week The Problem Uchiteli.bg is a platform for student-tutor and teacher connections. Recently, it has undergone an important UX/UI redesign. The following paper presents the case study of the strategic process behind this redesigning, the challenges, and its impact on the user experience and performance of the platform. Objective The main objective of this case study is to design an intuitive and comprehensive mobile application that would handle these challenges by providing a seamless experience for both students and tutors in Bulgaria, thus including the following features: verified profiles, robust search and matching algorithm, secure payment system, schedule and communication tools. It should be able to cater to all education levels, from primary school subjects to specialized university tutoring. Secondly, this application should be made accessible across a myriad of devices. Expected Outcomes By the end of this case study, a prototype of the app should be developed, including user flows, wireframes, and a detailed plan for implementation. The solution should demonstrate how it will address the identified challenges and provide measurable benefits to the education sector in Bulgaria. Understanding the competition The approach to start with competitive analysis laid the framework to better understand who my direct competitors were in the online tutoring business and what their strengths and weaknesses are. Prototyping Prototyping is the very critical phase in the app design process, much like a bridge between concept and implementation. It gives  an opportunity to visualize, test key functionalities, user interaction, and the overall user experience for the tutor and teacher hiring app in Bulgaria before its full-scale development. This phase provides an opportunity for fine-tuning of the application’s features and possible usability issues and ensures the design suits students’ and educators’ needs. Check out the prototype With the brand name now firmly established, I have revamped the logo entirely and injected fresh vitality into the color palette. The outcome? A contemporary and youthful appearance that still exudes professionalism. It is crafted to attract attention and radiate style from every perspective. Regarding the typography, leading the way is Neue Haas Grotesk, serving as main typeface. It boasts a clean, contemporary look and offers excellent legibility. Complementing it is Jost, the secondary font, which imparts a hint of character and versatility to the visual identity. The application is designed with a simple and secure login system for tutors and students. Any user can join or log in right away with the help of their email, social media, or phone number. Everything is done to make it easy on the barriers, so the setup is really simple that guarantees the tutors to verify their credentials easily and for students to get their profile up really fast. This is a user-friendly approach: both tutors and students will have the least problems getting to the platform, ready to connect and engage with the educational services offered. The app’s navigation is designed with simplicity and clarity in mind, ensuring that users can easily find and apply filters without overwhelming the interface. The filter options, are neatly organized in a sidebar. This side placement allows users to access and adjust their search criteria effortlessly while keeping the main screen uncluttered. This thoughtful design ensures a seamless and focused interaction, making it easy to find the perfect tutor without unnecessary distractions. The app has an accessible calendar that helps in keeping appointments and reminders. From the main dashboard, it gives an overview of the schedule to the user. Students and tutors can put notes, add reminders for upcoming sessions, or book new appointments with a few taps within the calendar view. This built-in calendar system aids in keeping up with the time factor and keeping both the student and the tutor on track toward their goals in education. Finding and connecting with a tutor on the app is effortless and intuitive. Students can quickly search for tutors using various filters such as subject, location, availability, and rating. Once a suitable tutor is found, students can view detailed profiles, including qualifications, reviews, and teaching style, before sending a direct message or booking a session with just a few taps. This streamlined process makes it easy for students to connect with the right tutor, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from start to finish. In conclusion, the tutor-finding app offers a seamless way to connect students with qualified tutors, addressing challenges of accessibility and personalized learning. By focusing on user-friendly design, efficient matching, and secure communication, the platform enhances education for both students and tutors. Continuous improvements and feedback will further strengthen its impact on personalized learning. Take a look at the Website redesign

That’s the vision I started with. My target audience – busy parents juggling work and family, individuals hopping from one city to another, and families trying to stay connected amidst chaos – needed a solution that was both powerful and effortless to use. Inter Inter Inter Inter Poppins Poppins Poppins Poppins From the get-go, I knew the design had to evoke a sense of calm and efficiency. Here’s how that vision was brought to life: Rounded Buttons: I opted for soft, rounded buttons throughout the interface. Why? Because sharp edges are the last thing a stressed parent needs to see! The rounded shapes create a more soothing visual experience. Bright CTAs: While the overall design aims for calmness, I didn’t shy away from using bright, bold colors for the call-to-action buttons. These vibrant touchpoints serve as friendly guides, helping users confidently navigate the app.  Typography Harmony: I struck a beautiful balance by combining two typefaces: This typographic duo reflects the app’s dual nature – efficient yet friendly, just like a perfect personal assistant. Inter:  for its clean, modern look that ensures readability Poppins:  to add a touch of warmth and personality User Flow When considering our users’ needs, I realized that a vibrant and creative direction would resonate more effectively.
